Eggless Banana Cake

Wow wow wow...super amazing cake recipe, and super quick to make too. Just make it when you would like to treat your guests with the home-made cake along with the cuppa of coffee.


3/4 cup confectioner's sugar
1/4 cup unsalted butter
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 cup all purpose flour
1 ripe banana
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
1 tsp grounded cinnamon


1. Grease and dust the baking tray of approximately 8 inches diameter.
2. Beat the sugar and butter till light.
3. Divide the flour in 3 parts, adding each part gradually.
4. Add the baking soda and the baking powder. Mix it well with the electric blender
5. With a fork, make the purée of the banana. Add the  purée to this mixture, and blend it well. 
6. Add the cinnamon, and chopped walnuts. Run the mixer for another minute.
7. Pour it in the well greased and dusted baking tray and put in the microwave for 7-8 minutes on the maximum heat.
8. Take the cocktail stick or the tooth pick in the center to check if it is all baked.
9. Voila, the cake is ready to be served or self consumed, with the hot cuppa of coffee.

You can also use apple instead of banana, to have apple cinnamon cake.
