Marble Cake

Baking a cake is no more a herculean task. This super quick marble cake recipe makes it so easy that you can enjoy it as and when you want.


2 eggs
100 gm flour
100 gm confectioner’s sugar
Marble Cake

100 ml cooking oil
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla essence
2 tsp cocoa powder
4 chopped walnuts


Preheat the oven for ten minutes at 250 degrees Celsius

Whisk the eggs in a bowl. You can mix it with wooden spatula or can use it electric hand blender. Add sugar and oil and mix it well. Now fold flour into it. Make sure they are mixed in clockwise direction and not swirled around.

Add baking powder and mix well with flat wooden spatula. Avoid using electric mixer at this point. Sprinkle the cocoa powder and swirl it around only once. Brush oil on the baking tray and dust some flour onto it.

Pour the batter in the baking tray. Sprinkle the remaining cocoa powder while adding the batter. Add chopped walnuts on top of the batter.

Keep this for 160-180 degrees for 20 minutes. Use tooth-pick to check if it is well baked, else keep it for another 5-7 minutes.

Remove it from the grill/microwave oven. Let it cool for sometime, before enjoying the delicious marble cake.
