Steamed Corn on the Cob


1 corn on the cob
1/2 lemon 
1 tsp salt
1 tsp red chilly powder
10 inch cling wrap


Remove the ears of the corn
Wrap it with the cling wrap (clear plastic wrap) leaving a bit open from the top and bottom to let the air escape.
Put it in the microwave for 2 mins. Cover it with the splatter cover.

Once done, take it out carefully from the microwave as it will be very hot. Remove the wrap. Rub the lemon dipped in the salt and chilly powder mixture and is ready to eat.

Alternatively, one can use the corn cling-wrapped that we get at any super market. Do remove the paper and ears if any, before using it.
