Yesterday, we decided to go for lunch at Nando's on the church street. I picked my buddy from his office and we drove there.

They have valet service which we had confirmed with them earlier over the phone. This saved us the effort of looking for the parking slot in the crowded Church Street and Brigade Road and instead we could hand over the keys and step inside.

We ordered 'Pita with Hummus’ and ‘ Flame Grilled Chicken with Rice’. Wow, the hummus was so good, that my buddy couldn’t wait for the chicken and wrapped up almost half of hummus with pita.

The chicken was also well grilled with the sauce glazed on it, even vegetarians would like to taste the yummy looking dish. Along with this there was a huge plate of 'Potato Wedges'. Just a word - don’t restrain yourself from using fingers as it isn’t easy to eat the huge chicken piece with the flatware.

Along with this we ordered, 'Mediterranean salad' with vinaigrette dressing, and for beverages it was ‘Maderia red’ and as always ‘Iced tea’.

Madeira red is a great summer drink. It is a mix of pomegranate juice with sprite and a few pomegranate seeds in the drink to add the zest.

Well, its a nice casual dining restaurant offering clean and good ambience. Though the staff needs to be a bit more friendly. The afternoon lunch was around eleven hundred rupees, a little over price for an afternoon lunch on a weekday. But the place is surely a comeback for the great food that it has to offer.
